Online retailer charges customers extra for using Microsoft?s Internet Explorer 7 browser

Online retailer ?Kogan? hates Microsoft?s Internet Explorer 7 Web browser. The Australia-based company is so tired of people using the browser to visit its website, in fact, that it has decided to levy a tax on customers who visit the site using Microsoft?s old browser. The ?Internet Explorer 7 Tax? amounts to 6.8% of customers? purchases from the retailer, and the site suggests that anyone using IE7 has likely ?been in a coma for over 5 years.??To avoid the tax, Kogan recommends that its customers opt to ?use a better browser,? and it recommends Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Opera.
